JOB DESCRIPTIONS
STRATEGIC GOALS
The CCSAI Board of Directors have set 6 Strategic priorities for the organization and developed target goals to be achieved by 2022. These are:
Student and Staff Awareness
The CCSAI will have at least 75% opt-in rates for optional fees.
The CCSAI will be known by 80% of students and staff at Centennial College.
Data Driven Student Insights
The CCSAI will make decisions driven by data.
The CSSAI will have a working system for data collection of feedback and input from students that will be sustainable for future boards.
Advocacy
The CCSAI will have a safe space for students to talk about their concerns.
The CCSAI will have developed workshops that explain and promote self- advocacy and student empowerment to create a more successful student experience.
The CCSAI will have designated spaces for student advocacy on all campuses.
At least 75% of CCSAI members will be able to advocate by themselves; they will know the correct policies, by-laws, and procedures for every situation.
Accessibility and Inclusion
The CCSAI will create a barrier-free campus with all CCSAI spaces and events accessible according to the AODO code.
The CCSAI will continue to be accessible to students who are in the registration process and make the university transition for international students smoother.
Infrastructure
The CCSAI will have a well-articulated board transition plan.
The CCSAI will have a stable, consistent structure of services that supports the needs of students, resulting in a 75% opt in rate.
External Programs
The CCSAI will have a collaboration or partnership with every department at Centennial College.
The CCSAI will have established a fully functioning food bank on each campus.
The CCSAI will have practical, personal development workshops for life after graduation.
90% of students who engage with the CCSAI will be repeat users.
BUDGET
We approve our budget each year at our Annual General Meeting. Keep an eye out for the date announcement here and on our social media (it happens in October). Until then you can see last year’s budget here.
COMMITTEES
The CCSAI has two standing committees to help achieve our strategic goals and fulfill our mission. Below is a brief overview of them.
Governance
The Governance Committee regularly reviews and proposes updates the associations by-laws and policies to help ensure the organization runs as effectively as possible.

Programming
The Programming Committee meet regularly to review, propose and evaluate all CCSAI extra-curricular offerings. Everything from campus-specific board game events to off campus bus trips to large-scale orientation concerts are coordinated by the committee.
