Save with Metrolinx One Fair Discount Program

Metrolinx has launched Ontario’s One Fare Program, which aims to provide student discounts for commutes. Students will only pay once they connect to and from the TTC, Go Transit, Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, MiWay, and York Region Transit.

How it works:

  • PRESTO will automatically calculate the discount and apply it to a PRESTO card, credit card, debit card or PRESTO in Google Wallet.
  • Transit riders are requested to tap on and off using the same card when travelling within different transits.
  • For trips connecting between TTC and GO Transit, the TTC component of the trip will become free, regardless of the travel direction and will be discounted from the overall trip cost.
  • For trips connecting between TTC and local transit systems, the second portion of the trip will become free.

Note: One Fare Program discount is eligible if travelling times are within 2 hours.
