The Board Bulletin – October

Hello Centennial Family!

October was indeed a dynamic month for us at CCSAI! From launching new initiatives to connecting with students, we’ve been busy working to make the Centennial experience even better.

Here’s a recap of all that happened over the last month and a look at what’s coming next!

5- Year Strategic Plan Survey
We launched our 5-Year Strategic Plan Survey this month. This strategic plan will help us to understand our focus areas over the next five years, ensuring we meet the needs of our diverse Centennial community.

We’re asking all students to participate by filling out the survey and enter for a chance to win some exciting prizes like an iPad, $250 Amazon gift card or $100 on your myCard! Click here to take the quiz.

Clubs Conference
The Clubs Conference brought together leaders from across our clubs for a day of collaboration and leadership development. We covered content on hosting impactful events, best practices for club marketing, followed by a discussion with CCSAI President, Ajane Adams!

We’re excited to see what our club leaders will accomplish this year!

Snack and Chat

Our first “Snack and Chat” was a great success! This event provided students an opportunity to meet their CCSAI Board members and share their thoughts on what they need from us! We received valuable insights that will help shape our long-term strategic initiatives. Check out the recap of our October Snack and Chat!

Career Fair

CCSAI collaborated with the Centennial Careers team to host a job fair at Progress Campus. The event was attended by lots of students and alumni where they got a chance to get new headshots for their LinkedIn profile to be career ready!

CCSAI Donation to Centennial College’s Giving Tuesday
In a spirit of support, CCSAI proudly donated to Centennial College’s Giving Tuesday campaign, directly benefiting the Student Emergency Fund. This fund is an essential resource for students facing unexpected financial hardships, providing support for everything from groceries to emergency housing. By giving to the Student Emergency Fund, we’re working to ensure that no Centennial student faces a crisis alone.
