The last two months of our term were indeed eventful months for us at CCSAI! Here’s what we did as the spring season bloomed upon us.

Annual General Meeting
On April 8, 2025 we conducted our Annual General Meeting at the Main Events Hall. This AGM was indeed very conversational as all the students came forward and asked questions, doubts and voiced their concerns.
During the AGM we approved the 2025/26 budget and the proposed by law amendments. For more details on the budget, click here and to read up more about the by-law amendments, click here.
Outgoing Message from the Board of Directors
Dear Students,
As we conclude our term as your CCSAI Board of Directors 2024-2025, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the opportunity to serve and represent you.
Throughout this year, we asked ourselves a simple but powerful question: How does this make a student’s life better?
Guided by that purpose, we are proud to share some of the milestones achieved together:
- We successfully developed CCSAI’s first-ever student-driven Strategic Plan, crafted directly from the voices, needs, and aspirations of Centennial students. This plan — soon to be implemented — lays a clear, strong foundation for a future centered around student priorities.
- We established new governance policies and procedures to strengthen transparency, accountability, and continuity in student leadership.
- Through advocacy efforts alongside student leaders across Canada, we fought for and helped advance key student issues like,
- Increasing international students’ part-time working hours from 20 to 24 hours per week, giving students greater flexibility and support.
- Strengthening mental health support for students.
- Addressing the basic needs of students — such as access to food, housing, and essential resources.
- Pushing for greater institutional support across post-secondary campuses.
This year reaffirmed that leadership is not measured by titles or accolades, but by service. True leadership demands standing firm in what is right, even when it is difficult, and keeping faith in the belief that student voices must always be heard, respected, and acted upon.
As we pass the torch to the next generation of student leaders, we are filled with hope. We hope that they will lead with compassion over convenience, courage over comfort, and principle over popularity.
We are proud of the good we achieved together, and we are even more excited for the future that you, Centennial students, will continue to build.
Thank you for your trust, your support, and most importantly — your voices.
This is not an ending, but a new beginning.
With gratitude and pride,
Your 2024–2025 CCSAI Board of Directors
