Happy start of the winter semester, Centennial College students. Here’s what we did in December:
Another round of Snack and Chat
We hosted students in our offices across the five campuses and one learning centre to listen to you as owners and have a wonderful opportunity to get to know you and learn about your hopes and fears in the student experience. Every student and group who shows up is very dear to us, and we are always happy to connect with you. When the next round of events like this one comes, don’t hesitate to show up and share your concerns!
Standing up for Black students at Centennial
Our president, Ajané Adams, attended the Black Student Collective year-end event. The student-led organization exists in post-secondary institutions across Canada and aims to engage black students and provide them with resources and support for positive career and educational outcomes.
Wellness Week!
Finals weren’t easy on any of us! That’s why Wellness Week always comes in handy to help us all relax through semester finals. There, we partnered with CALCS to provide many engaging activities, from pups on campus to good back massages and a care package to get through the exam week!
Walking in the Winter Wonderland
We had our annual trip to Canada Wonderland to visit their Winter Fest, a wonderful opportunity for many of us to celebrate Christmas and learn more about Canadian culture, together as a group and filled with the purpose of getting to know new people and experiences.
