CCSAI’s Mission & Vision
CCSAI Vision: Co-creating an inclusive and vibrant community for a thriving student experience.
CCSAI Mission: To enhance the student’s journey by providing an inclusive experience that meets diverse needs through equitable access to education, diverse opportunities for skill development, and supporting holistic well-being.
Summary of CCSAI’s Three Strategic Priorities
Equitable Access to Education—CCSAI is dedicated to removing barriers and providing inclusive support so that all students can access the resources they need to succeed and feel a sense of belonging at Centennial.
Some examples of operational services & programs that link to this pillar might include:
- Advocating for fairness in evaluation through Grade Appeals.
- Raising awareness of academic and student supports through Marketing & Communications.
- Providing financial relief through cost-saving Services and Support resources
Skill Development—CCSAI empowers students with opportunities to build personal and professional skills through clubs, mentorship, work-integrated learning, and other activities that support student growth and future success.
Some examples of operational services & programs that link to this pillar might include:
- Providing leadership opportunities and supporting student-led advocacy initiatives through the Board of Directors, Clubs program and student group funding.
- Hosting professional development Events and workshops and providing platforms for talent and skill showcases.
Holistic Wellness—We promote a culture of holistic wellness by integrating mental, physical, and social well-being into all our programs and services to help students thrive in every aspect of their lives.
Some examples of operational services & programs that link to this pillar might include:
- Creating community and fostering a sense of belonging through Events and Clubs.
- Facilitating mental health awareness events and campaigns through wellness events and student media.
- Providing fitness and health services, engaging programs and facilities for accessible physical exercise.
