The purpose of this club is to create a welcoming and supportive community for students in helping profession programs, including Social Service Worker, Addiction and Mental Health, Developmental Services Worker, Community Services Worker, and related fields. Through interdisciplinary networking, meaningful conversations, and engaging activities, the club aims to provide students with a space to connect, share experiences, and support one another while navigating the unique challenges of their programs and future careers. By hosting events focused on wellness, resilience, creativity, and peer connection, the club will encourage open discussions around topics such as burnout, compassion fatigue, stress management, and balancing academic, placement, work, and personal responsibilities. Ultimately, the club will help students build lasting professional relationships, strengthen their sense of belonging, and promote overall mental well-being throughout their educational journey.
