We Speak Student is the provider of our domestic student health plan. Claims are processed through ClaimSecure. All domestic students are enrolled in the health plan from the start of the first semester of their academic year. The premium is $75 per semester (to a maximum of $150 for the academic year). Students paying both the fall and winter semester premiums are covered from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020. The health plan provides prescription coverage, dental benefits as well as other health supports.
Students have an option to add their dependents for an additional fee. Students adding dependents must do so in the first semester of their academic year. There is no option to do so after the deadline. Students with health coverage outside of this plan may opt-out. The online processes and deadlines for opting out or adding dependents can be found by visiting www.wespeakstudent.com for more information.

If you are already covered by an extended health and dental plan, you can opt out of ours and receive a refund. You can find all the details on the WeSpeakStudent website. Please note that we do retain $10 to maintain Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefits, access to the 24/7 student assistance plan for mental health and crisis support, and to cover administrative costs of processing the opt out.

Appletree Telemedicine Clinic @ Centennial
Centennial College has partnered with Appletree Medical Group to offer a telemedicine clinic at Progress campus. Now, Centennial staff, students, and neighbours can consult with a doctor via video from a private clinic on campus.
The Appletree Telemedicine Clinic @ Centennial operates Monday – Friday, 9 am – 9 pm out of the former Student Association Spa Services (SASS) on the second floor of the Athletic and Wellness Centre. The telemedicine clinic meets many of your medical needs. Before you head to the clinic, check the complete list of what is included and excluded by CLICKING HERE.
No appointment is required. All you need is your Ontario Health Insurance Plan card (or Guard.me for International students) and a list of any medications you are taking.
