Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy writing and taking walks in nature and writing, especially poetry. Even though I may not be the best poet, I dream of writing and publishing my book someday.
I'm also fascinated by space and love learning about it. It's a subject that never fails to inspire wonder and curiosity within me. Finally, I find a lot of comfort in listening to music. Whether it's unwinding with soothing melodies or getting energized by upbeat tunes, music is an essential part of my daily life.
One Goal For Your Term
With so many important considerations on my mind, one goal that stands out is to create more job opportunities for students. However, I'm also deeply committed to addressing other pressing issues, such as implementing flexible timetables for maintenance courses, enhancing mental health resources for students, and extending the opening hours of the cafeteria.
Favorite CCSAI Services
I really enjoy the weekly breakfast program and the learning essential cost reimbursement program.
The weekly breakfasts are a fun way for me and my friends to hang out and grab a bite to eat before starting our day. It's become a nice tradition that we all look forward to. The cost reimbursement program is also helpful. It takes some of the financial pressure off when it comes to buying PPE and other learning materials, which can be a big relief for students in programs like mine.
Message to Students
Centennial is like a second home for many of us—a place we both love and sometimes find challenging. Amidst the ups and downs, we forge great friendships and memories that last a lifetime. Whether you're an international student navigating a new country or a domestic student stepping into the unknown, starting something new can be intimidating. I've felt that uncertainty myself.
Let's work together to make Centennial the best place it can be. It's crucial that the place where we spend so much time is comforting and positive. Together, we can create a supportive community where everyone feels welcome and valued. Let's embrace our differences, celebrate our successes, and support each other through the journey. Here's to making Centennial a place we're proud to call home.
