Hi there, Centennial Colts! Here’s what your board was up to in March and what comes next:
Meet the Progress Interim VP
Meet Zasar Jongpermwattanapol, your Interim Vice President of Progress campus. She will continue to serve on the board and support the incoming board in their transition. Zasar intends to increase awareness of the resources available on campus during her term
Welcome, new board!
After the all-candidates forum meeting hosted by our board members on March 11 and another great election season, we are excited to introduce the members of your 2024-2025 board of directors!
But don’t forget it! Our president, AJ Adams, will serve CCSAI for another year. This was a decision by the board in a vote of confidence a few months ago, and we are certain AJ will continue doing a wonderful job in his position.
PAC representation on CCSAI Board of Directors 2024-25
Logan Routhier, the representative for the Performing Arts Centre, recently joined the board as a non-voting member to share the voice of the students in the learning centre. He will serve as the PAC representative on the CCSAI Board of Directors for 2024-25.
Another great year of federal advocacy
This month, vice presidents Sanaa Bayi and Luis Felipe Mussalem headed to Edmonton for the Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations. There, we gathered with student leaders from across the country and together we looked back on a great year of advocacy and learned about strategic plans and EDI strategies that we can apply to CCSAI.
Soon, you will have new federal advocates and we will be here to keep you updated.
What’s coming up…?
Board Transition: With the new board members starting their term soon, it is our main goal to ensure the transition process runs smoothly and that the new leaders are set up to success, receiving all the resources they need to continue doing meaningful work at CCSAI.
