Legal Advice

* All onsite CCSAI events and activities are postponed until further notice. We will provide updates as more information becomes available at ccsai.ca. Once normal operations resume we will look to add additional appointments.

Please email info@ccsai.ca if you have any further questions.

Do you need documents notarized?  Are you looking for advice on a legal matter?

The CCSAI offers free legal advice to all full-time students currently enrolled who have paid the associated student association fees. You must present your student card at the time of your appointment.

Appointments may be made to see a lawyer for affidavits and other legal documents and advice.

Where can you find us?

Appointments are each Tuesday at Progress (CCSAI office, 2nd floor Student Centre) and Ashtonbee (CCSAI office, Student Centre A1-06).

The lawyers will not represent you in a court of law

How can students take advantage of free legal advice?

Appointments must be booked in person and there is a $10 refundable cash deposit required when booking. Appointments can be booked through your home campus CCSAI office, for example: if you attend Morningside campus you can book your appointment through the CCSAI office at that campus.

Progress office: 2nd floor Student Centre

Morningside office: Room 113

Story Arts Campus: Room 113 (our office is currently under renovation, please look for our pop up location).

Ashtonbee office: Room A1-06
