Eligibility: All participating athletes must be students, currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution. Since this is an OWA sanctioned contest, all participants must either be members of the OWA or a member in good standing with their provincial governing body for the sport of weightlifting. Proof of current post-secondary student status will be required at weigh-in. If you are an interested post-secondary student that is not registered with the OWA or an equivalent provincial governing body you must complete your membership before registering for this competition. Coaches: All coaches wishing to enter the Field of Play (warm-up and competition areas) MUST have, at minimum, a status of “NCCP Competition Introduction in Training” and will be required to pick up accreditation at the Info Desk upon arrival. Only coaches listed on their athletes’ entry form will be given accreditation to enter the field of play for this competition. A team may bring 1 assistant coach, 1 therapists and 1 photographer (a maximum of 4 accredited personnel). All 4 must be listed on at least one athlete’s entry form per team.

This competition is capped at 65 athletes.
Refund policy: No refunds once registered.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals awarded in each weight class
Best Lifter Award: Male and female with the highest Sinclair total
Strongest School/Top Team Award: Based on the top 3 male and 3 female lifters from each school
OCR Fair Play Award: Awarded to the team whose athletes and coaches demonstrate the most respect and spirit of fair play. Voted by coaches.
