Meet Chef Reem – also known as Reem From the Heart! From Egypt to Canada, from a Biomedical Engineer to mother to the first Muslim hijabi featured on MasterChef Canada! MasterChef Finalist, Reem, is going to demonstrate how to cook a particular dish and fan favourite.

Can you guess what will be cooking?
For preparation:
- Stainless steel paper towel holder
- 2 big mixing bowls
- 2 medium mixing bowl
- Bread knife
- Oven pan with high edges
- Foil wrap
- Panini grill
- Vinegar
For the central portion:
- 4 pounds boneless chicken thighs OR 4 eggplants for a veggie option
- 1/2 cup Chives or onion juice
- 1/2 cup Lime juice
- 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup avocado oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Corriander
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Chef seasoning ( Costco)
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 Tomato ( Top)
- 1 Onion ( Base)
- 2 to 3 bell peppers to layer between chicken/eggplant
For the toppings:
- Pickles and pickled turnips
Fresh tomato and red onions cut into slices
Chopped lettuce and parsley
For the tahini sauce:
- 1/2 cup tahini paste
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 4 garlic cloves pressed/minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4-1/2 cup water depending on desired consistency
For the Wrap:
- Fresh Saj bread, or pita bread, or hotdog buns, or a variety of each (Quantity as desired)
