Pause, relax, and create a masterpiece with Full Circle Art Therapy Centre this wellness week! Art Therapy can help individuals externalize and organize their thoughts and feelings that may otherwise be difficult to articulate. The guided creative process, as well as the end product, can be used to enhance a person’s mental, emotional, spiritual, social, cognitive, and physical well-being. 

Here is what you will need to participate at home:

  • Paper  
  • Pen / Pencil 
  • Coloured art materials 

Taylor Bourassa,  (Registered Psychotherapist – qualifying) 

Taylor Bourassa (she/her) integrates art, nature and typical talk therapies as a way to provide a more holistic approach. There are moments in life when words fall short of what we are feeling, or are unable to reach the depths of our understanding and expression. Taylor finds it helpful in these moments, to call on the expressive arts and nature to access the nuance in feeling and expression. Through art-creation and exploring your experiences through a nature-based lens, you may come to deeper insights that you can hold and reflect on. Taylor typically works with children, youth & adults, who are experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem or body image issues; and those who are seeking a deeper understanding of life’s big questions and their own spirituality
