The Athletics and Wellness Centre (AWC) is a state-of-the-art facility with a gymnasium (approximately 65,000 square feet), squash courts, a 154 metre indoor track, climbing wall, a cardio-fitness area, locker rooms and two aerobic studios.

3 Gyms

The AWC features 3 separate gym spaces that can allow us to run a variety of activities concurrently.  Daily you can find a variety sporting and fitness options including basketball, soccer, cricket, volleyball, badminton  and table tennis.  The curtains also come up to reveal our varsity centre court, home of the Centennial College Colts.

Rock Wall

Housed inside our gym is a 24 foot tall rock wall with auto belay.

There are a number of paths that will appeal to all climbers from first-timers to the most-experienced.  Ask our guest services about how you can get set up to reach the summit.

Fitness Centre

The second floor of the AWC is our fitness centre.  Equipped with cardio machines, weight lifting machines and free weights, our fitness centre will have all the equipment you are looking for.  We have also set up the space into convenient training zones like our Core Zone, Olympic Lifting Zone and Athletic Training Zone to help you get the most out of your workout.

Squash Courts

If racquet sports are your thing, we have you covered.  The AWC has two squash courts so you can stay active with a friendly or competitive game.  You can see when the courts are available and request a court time here

Running Track

The second floor fitness centre also features a 154 metre indoor track. 

Fitness Studio

The AWC also features two multi purpose fitness studios.  Outside of group fitness class times these studios are available for membership use.  Whether its for a quiet place to stretch or a spacious space fro dance rehearsal the studios are the perfect fit.
