Health & Dental Plan
We launched a brand new health and dental plan with our new partners We Speak Student on September 1st.
We Speak Student is a leading provider of student benefit plan across the country, and they are bringing a fantastic plan to Centennial. For the same $17.50/semester (still by far one of the lowest fees in the province for benefit coverage) we are now providing basic dental coverage, basic vision coverage and a 24/7 Student Assistance Plan (SAP) in addition to our existing prescription and paramedical benefits.
For everything that you need to know about the plan, head to www.WeSpeakStudent.com and select Centennial College from the drop down menu. You can also download the mobile application from the iTunes and GooglePlay stores. Their toll-free phone number is 1-800-315-1108.
Watch this video tutorial below to learn how you get the most of your benefit plan from any connected device:
For those students that have eligible services and benefits to claim from the previous plan – incurred prior to September 1, 2017, you may submit your claims via mail, fax, or e-mail up until December 31, 2017. Click HERE to view and download the Blue Cross claim form.

Questions we’re always asked and the answers
Q: Can I please opt-out of the health plan? A: You cannot opt-out of the health plan. In order to receive such a low premium (It’s only $17.50/semester!), every Centennial College student must participate in the plan.
Q: Why isn’t birth control covered? A: This is a simple matter of economics. Adding birth control to the Health Plan would increase the cost substantially. Multiply the current plan cost by 10 and you’ll start to get the idea.
What if I’m an international student?
The International Office administers the health plan for international students. You can find more information on that plan here. For further details on the international student health insurance plan, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 416-289-5393.
