Description:

The School of Transportation is hosting the Green Fleet Expo on June 9 and 10 at the Ashtonbee campus. Over 300 guests are expected to take part in “ride and drive” information sessions of hybrid and electric vehicles, and to inspect the vehicles and equipment on display. The event is organized by the cities of Toronto and Hamilton and promotes this great cause of the greening of major vehicle fleets. The display of green cars, trucks and mobile equipment will be in the staff parking lot #2, located opposite "D" and "E" blocks of the 75 Ashtonbee Road building. For three days, starting on June 8, staff and Faculty are requested to park on a first-come, first-served basis in either the general lot #3 located opposite "A" and "B" blocks of the 75 Ashtonbee Road building or the North Hydro lot #1 located north of "F" block accessible by the driveway connecting it with general lot #3. These lots will also be used for parking by the event participants. Security staff will be on hand to assist with access control to the driveway and help with traffic flow. Please be vigilant and patient , and pay attention to any signage that has been installed. Always drive with care on campus.
